Pikum! now has a variety of Leagues available.
What is the Mega League?
The Mega League is the public league on Pikum! This will rate you against all other players playing the Mega Football Pikum. There will be a weekly table, a monthly table and a season table.
What is a Private League?
A Private League is a league table you have created for specially invited players. You can select anyone from your social networks or via email and invite them to join your Private League. The players in your Private League will be ranked according to the scores they tally (out of 10,000) during each week of the Mega Football Pikum. You will be able to set the time period of your Private League and enjoy full administrative control as the creator of a Private League.
What is a Watch List?
A Watch List is a list that compares your weekly scores against selected other players. You will be able to add any Pikum! player you wish to your Watch List. Your Watch List will be for private use and players added to your list will not know they have been added. You may want to see how you fair against Helen Chamberlain, Charlotte Jackson and 3 of your friends that play Pikum (for example). Your Watch List will then consist of you and these 5 players and will track your weekly, monthly and season scores.
How do I join a private league?
You can only join a private league if you get an invite request, from the league owner. Once you receive this request, click on the link in the email to join the league, by inputting the league ID.
How do I create a new/private league?
Log on to Pikum! Click on the ‘League Tables’ tab. Here you can create your own private league. You can select your league to show Top5, Top 10 or Average score. Your league will then be allocated a league ID, this league ID will be needed for anyone to join your league.
How do I invite people/ friends to my private league?
When you have created your league you will see a number or name under your league name. This is your invite code. Click invite players, here you can send an invite via email or from web applications (MySpace, Gmail, Facebook, etc). An email will be sent to these friends, with a league code. They will be able to click on the link to join your league. They need to place the league id (from the mail) in the league id box, under ‘my leagues’.
